Digital scrapping

Wednesday

I have slacked off with Type+writer, I think that I have a bit of burn out from doing so many classes one after the other. So I am taking a few days break from it all, the beauty of JS classes is that they are up indefinitely.
Jen Hall is offering Octoberfest again this year but only for 15 days, I have registered for it as I am missing paper scrapping. See how I feel after next weekend's retreat.
Maddy slept over last night, it was lovely to have her here this morning, reading to her in bed while we had a cuppa.
After G picked her up I had my hair trimmed, then came back here and finally cleaned my house to my satisfaction.
Got my pics printed to make my retreat swap cards, only 9 days to go woo hoo.
Spoke to Annie today (Dunsborough), Ella went horse riding, Lila loved beach combing and Curtis has run out of food so could I go buy him some.

sunday

Another Sunny day. My turn to make the morning cup of tea, which we drink in bed while reading. This morning we decided to go to Wellington Dam as it is overflowing. It seems to have been a popular idea, people everywhere. Took some photos of the dam and the overflow, watched a man abseil down the side of the quarry, took a few more photos and headed home. on the way home we called into see the Howard's, Maddy excitedly showed us her new sleeping bag and insisted on demonstrating her trampolining ability. She is such fun and can be very full on.
Tackled the weeds in the front garden and got rid of most along the driveway except for the couch which I will spray the next fine day. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and tuesday at least.

long time since I blogged

No point in trying to catch up on the year, I have been keeping a journal for that. Now that I am doing so much digital stuff especially at Jessica Sprague.com. , I though I would resurrect my blog.
It is now the last weekend in September, how the year has flown by.
Today was the AFL grand final and Geelong beat St Kilda. it was a hard fought match and anyone's game right up to the last few minutes.
it has rained nearly every day this month, and today is a lovely sunny spring day, so much to appreciate, so much weeding to be done, so much to enjoy outside.
Tonight we are going to a 70th birthday celebration, and I have some new clothes to wear. i really needed to update my wardrobe. I have been spending money on scrap booking and not much else lately. Also need some new swimwear, eek!
I am loving the current type+writer course at JS that I am currently enrolled in, challenging and very rewarding.
Now I had better get dressed for the big night.
